Semi Intensive Courses
This type of course is probably the best way of learning to drive
You can fit your course into the shortest time that waiting lists for driving tests allow.
You eliminate the disadvantages of more intensive courses, such as the possibility of getting tired through spending long hours in the car.
You are also under less pressure as you have more time to complete your course.
You eliminate the disadvantages of hourly lessons, such as the lack of continuity, and feeling ‘out of practice’ because you are driving regularly
Your course is flexible, and depending on how you are progressing the intensity of your course can be increased or decreased
The Duration of your Course will depend on:-
Whether you already have a Provisional Driving Licence
Whether you have already passed the Theory Test
The Availability of Test appointments
How many hours of tuition are needed
Your availability for lessons
The first step in booking a Semi Intensive Course is to have an assessment lesson.
At the end of your assessment lesson your driving instructor can advise you of the length of course needed to prepare for a driving test.
The driving test appointment will then be booked, and your Semi Intensive Course planned.
Your Semi Intensive Course will be structured using a series of
1, 1½, 2, or 2½ hour driving lessons
Your Semi Intensive Course can be structured over any time period that waiting times for tests allow.
(average theory test waiting time is 2 weeks)
(average driving test waiting time is 6 weeks)
